Commissions Terms and Conditions
Welcome! I'm delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with you on bringing your creative vision to life through a custom piece of art. Before we dive in, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions:
1. Commission Process
a. Consultation: Let's start with a consultation where we can discuss your ideas, preferences, and any specific requirements you have for the commissioned artwork. Visit the Commissions page and use the form there in the first instance, message me through Facebook/Instagram or send me an email!
b. Proposal: Following our consultation, I'll provide you with a detailed written proposal outlining the scope of the project, including the size, medium, style, and estimated timeline for completion.
c. Approval: Once we both agree on the proposal and any required deposit is made, I'll begin work on your commissioned piece.
2. Artistic Freedom
a. While I highly value your input, please understand that as an artist, I also bring my own unique style and perspective to each piece. Your trust in my creative process is truly appreciated.
3. Payment Terms
a. Deposit: To kickstart the project, I require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total project cost. This deposit acts as a commitment fee and covers initial materials and planning.
b. Progress Payments: For projects exceeding 8 weeks, I may request progress payments at agreed-upon milestones throughout the project. The final payment is due upon completion of the artwork.
4. Delivery and Shipping
a. Delivery: Once your commissioned piece is complete and ready, I'll notify you for either delivery or pickup.
b. Shipping: If shipping is required, additional fees may apply. We can discuss shipping options and costs during our consultation.
5. Ownership and Reproduction Rights
a. Upon receipt of full payment, you will become the owner of the commissioned artwork. However, I retain the right to reproduce and display the artwork for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
a. Cancellation: If you need to cancel the commission for any reason, please notify me as soon as possible. Please note that the initial deposit is non-refundable.
7. Communication
a. Open communication is key to a successful collaboration. I encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or feedback throughout the commissioning process.

Returns
I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, I offer a straightforward returns process for defective goods.
If (in the very unlikely event) you receive a defective item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@katieholland.co.uk or +44 7522853150. To initiate the return process, please provide your order number and a description of the defect.
Upon verification of the defect, we will provide instructions on how to return the item. Please ensure that the item is returned in the same condition as when you received it.
Once we receive the defective item, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 1-3 business days.
**Exchanges**
Please note that I do not offer exchanges for products purchased from our website. If you wish to replace a defective item, I kindly ask that you place a new order through the website.
**Non-Returnable Items**
