Commissions

If you have an idea for a piece of artwork and feel that my style fits your aesthetic, please get in touch! I specialise in oil portraiture (oil on panel or paper) - people or pets - but I can also do more informal pieces. I’m also happy to create abstract pieces which can be in watercolour/ink or digital. As a printmaker I work with relief printing techniques such as lino cutting - but I’m also adventurous and prepared to experiment with new techniques or methods if it works to bring your idea to life.

Commissioning a piece is really easy

Follow the steps below to see the process.

  • Firstly, get in touch! Use the contact form, send me an email, or get in touch via facebook or instagram. Let me know what you have in mind and we can have a chat about the details.

  • Once we're in touch, we’ll take care of the details - we can decide how best to bring your ideas to life and agree a creative brief - the what, the how, the when and the how much,.

  • After our chat, I'll put together an official version of the brief for your custom piece. This will outline everything we discussed – the size, medium, style, timeline, and of course, the cost.

  • Once you're happy with the proposal and we've sealed the deal with a deposit - which will be invoiced to you after you’ve agreed the brief, it's time to get to work bringing your vision to life on wood, paper, or whatever medium we've agreed upon.

Throughout the process, I'll keep you updated, so as appropriate, you’ll get sneak peeks, progress shots, and we can tweak things along the way to make sure you're love the final result.

  • Cue the drumroll – your custom artwork is ready! We'll arrange for delivery or pickup, whichever works best for you. I can't wait for you to see your piece in person!

  • Once your artwork is hanging proudly on your wall, snap a pic and show it off to the world! Tag me on social media – I love seeing happy customers with their new artworks.
